In real time, while training, Suunto t6 alerts you if you stray outside your target heart rate or, with a speed/distance sensor accessory, speed range. The Suunto T6 is compatible with wireless Peripheral Observation Devices which are also available on this site. The T6 does not come with any PODS as standard, these are extra.
PODs
Foot POD, attached to the shoe, measures speed and distance while running. Combined with the heart rate data, it gives you all the info you need from your run
Bike POD combines speed and distance functions with the detailed heart rate analysis of the Suunto t6, making it one of the most advanced training tools ever developed for biking
PC POD is a wireless USB link for PC. It enables real time heart rate detection with PC and wireless downloading of data from the Suunto t6
This watch is also available with the optional Suunto Duathlon pack. The Suunto Duathlon pack meets the demands of elite endurance athletes across all training disciplines and especially running and cycling. Suunto T6 records more than 100,000 hearbeats with one millisecond resolution and delivers speed and distance, elevation gain and loss while combined with Foot and Bike pods.
